Pilar Pobil was a beloved Salt Lake City artist whose vibrant paintings, sculptures and fearless creativity made her one of Utah’s most influential artists. For 64 years, Pilar transformed her Avenues home into a work of art: filling it with color, hand-painted surfaces, sculptures, original artwork, and the stories of an extraordinary creative life. Pilar died in 2024 at the age of 98, leaving behind Casa Pilar: a living legacy waiting to be explored.
