About the event
We've been good buddies who play music together for almost 15 years. Velvy is stopping in Salt Lake City for a couple of days and we decided it'd be crazy not to do a little show together! This performance will feature original songs by both artists interspersed with some readings by Monica. Velvy Appleton Velvy Appleton is a singer-songwriter-guitarist living in Grass Valley, CA.
For the past 25+ years, Velvy has been writing and performing with a wide array of Bay Area bands and artists, including Spark & Whisper, Rhonda Linstadt, Velvy Appleton & Rebecca Chourré, Monica Pasqual & the Handsome Brunettes, Little Gems, Audrey Auld, The Dolly Mamas, Howie’s Persuasion, The Valley Blues Brothers, Three At Last, Liz Stires, Robert M. Powell, and the seminal SF Brazilian dance band, Nobody From Ipanema.
